Yichalal SACCOS was founded in 2017 E.C. by a group of 92 founding memberswho shared a single conviction: that financial services should be accessible, fair, and rooted in community trust.
What began as a small circle of savers has grown into a thriving cooperative that supports thousands of members with flexible loans, secure savings, and honest financial guidance. Every step of our growth has been guided by the needs of our members and the belief that collective saving unlocks individual possibility.
The name Yichalal, meaning "It is possible" in Amharic, reflects everything we stand for: no ambition is out of reach when a community saves together.
